Ring Responsibility

If someone questions what I’m saying or doing and I feel defensive or explanatory then I know I have a lot more settling down to do.
A lot more of my own questioning and learning.

In boxing- when you are uncertain, there are pauses when you execute. Little moments of a fight with one’s own body that don’t let us fully sit down into the power.

It’s no different in conversation…..not pause as in silence…..the pauses show up in word usage, body language, sentence structure. It’s all a growing package……fumbling……filling the space before it’s time……sequences out of order.

Defense gives us the information we need to be more certain. Defense tells us how out of our center of gravity we actually are.

Line up and things start to happen that are easier and more efficient.
