WHO IS OUR PROGRAM DESIGNED FOR?

Arcaro’s after school program caters to children and youth ages 6-16. We design our curriculum for all levels. It includes general exercise, competition training, and the art of boxing.

WHO ARE THE COACHES AND ARE THEY QUALIFIED TO WORK WITH YOUTH?

Both of our head coaches lead our youth program. The youth deserve our best, and it starts with coaching. All youth coaches are USA Boxing certified. We have two silver coaches and an assistant silver-level coach.

What does that mean? All coaches working with our youth have completed Safe Sport Training. The organization mandates and renews background checks every year.

This ensures the safety of every kid and teen. We fully support our anti-bullying policy. It is the foundation of our training.

WHAT CAN I EXPECT IN ENROLLING MY CHILD?

Our core values are integrity, discipline, and respect. We start by teaching all our boxers the basics. First, they learn footwork. Then, we cover defense and offense. Finally, they move on to partner work. This includes partner drilling and sparring that may be necessary based on their goals.

The Arcaro program prepares boxers for competition and self-defense scenarios. Kids and youth will learn how to respond under pressure from higher-level partner work and/or sparring.

Safety is our top priority. We focus on creating a space that is safe in physical, emotional, and mental aspects. This helps our kids flourish and develop confidence in themselves and in the work we do together.

WHAT OPTIONS ARE THERE IF I CAN’T AFFORD THE PROGRAM, BUT WANT TO ENROLL MY CHILD?

Membership subsidies are available to families in need of support. The Clara M. Carlucci Foundation helps us support at-risk youth a space to belong. There is an application process and a current waitlist. Please send an email to info@arcaroboxing.com to be placed on the waitlist.

We are passionate about supporting our community. Our belief is that every child deserves to feel confident and powerful in their bodies regardless of financial means.

Not in need of financial support, but want to sponsor a child? We welcome all contributions. You can donate directly to the Clara M. Carlucci Foundation here.
