A 2013 USA National Champion, two-time Washington State Golden Gloves winner and 2013 Outstanding Female Boxer at the Jr. Golden Gloves, Jen began amateur boxing in 2009 as a way to express herself through sport.

Through boxing competition, Jen found a way to physically experience some of the principles she took on in her formal philosophy studies (Seattle University B.A. 2009), including the ability to access power, fire, emotion, and recognize personal reactions in the ring. Through boxing and community outreach projects, Jen is working to become more mentally and physically aware of herself and those around her, which is in turn helping her to take on matches both inside and outside of the ring.

Training for the Olympics is a full-time physical and emotional commitment. By making a donation to the Road to Gold, you can help Jen on her Olympic journey and lay the training groundwork for future boxing Olympians:
