Summer is creeping in around Seattle and a few exciting things are happening here at the gym to keep you motivated with your training.
We now have a Youth Program for kids ages 8-12. This new year round program is every Tuesday and Thursday from 4:30pm-5:30pm. Give your kids the opportunity to exercise in a fun and safe setting. They will gain valuable motor skills, confidence, discipline and learn a lot about themselves. As a parent, you can work out at the same time taking advantage of Open Gym! It’s a great way to lead by example and make the most of your time together versus having to run all around town to meet everyone’s needs.
As always, if your kids are 13 or older, they can come to Open Gym or any scheduled class with you or on their own.
We’ve started Road work programming. If you want to go to the next level of fitness, increase your leg awareness and strength, then this program is for you. A coach will design 4-6 weeks of progressive running for you. You are guaranteed to increase your endurance, your punches will feel stronger and you will be able to throw many more punches than ever before! Plus, you get to take advantage of the incredible weather and our nearby tracks!
Watch our amateur team train! You can participate in Open Gym on Mondays, Wednesday and Fridays from 3:00pm-6:00pm or just hang out and watch. The Arcaro Boxing Team trains during these time periods, honing their basics and working on a lot of impeccable repetition. You will see what it takes to prepare to compete in the ring and get to know your Arcaro Boxers!
Just want to hang out in a boxing atmosphere? Maybe relax a little before or after your training? Come in for Open Gym, take advantage of our magazines and papers to read, talk boxing/community with other Gym Members, find new training partners and/or have a coach hold mitts for you!
Open Gym is Monday through Friday from 10am-6pm and Saturday/Sunday from 11:30am-2:00pm
1/2 Hour Individual Coaching Special extended all summer (June, July, August) Just $30.00+tax will get you a 1/2 hour session working on bettering your boxing ability and fitness level. Enjoy the repetition of training that results in accomplishment of skill one on one with a coach!
